APPLY NOW TO BE PART OF GERMANY’S SHOWCASE AT THE WORLD EXPO
Postings for jobs in the German Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai (1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022) are online now. A team from Koelnmesse, which is running the German Pavilion on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, is looking to fill various positions. These include around 180 hosts to accompany visitors from around the world on their journey through the CAMPUS GERMANY exhibition, assistants in the areas of management, protocol and communication plus drivers and building systems technicians. Potential applicants can find out more here. The deadline for applications is 31 March 2021.
Expo 2020 Dubai, the first world exhibition to be held in the Arab world, will bring together more than 190 nations in a six-month-long celebration of global community spirit. At CAMPUS GERMANY, both the country's cutting-edge sustainability innovations and its diversity will be on show.
Indeed, diversity is a key element of the CAMPUS GERMANY team, with the 10-strong core team for the pavilion itself a mix of six different nationalities (including German).
All the vacancies require applicants with good German and English skills. Other languages, particularly Arabic, would be an advantage. Successful candidates will also have excellent social and intercultural skills. Details of the requirements for the various positions are given in the job advertisements.
Training for the new recruits is scheduled to take place in Dubai in August/September 2021. Only applicants who are available throughout the entire required period (the duration of the expo plus the induction phase) will be considered.
CAMPUS GERMANY offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of a multifaceted showcase of Germany and German culture and to join the international community that will come together at Expo 2020 Dubai.
