PANEL DISCUSSION ON THE FUTURE OF EXHIBITION AS PART OF BERLIN WEEK AT CAMPUS GERMANY
As part of Berlin's federal state week, a panel discussion on "The future of exhibition" will take place on Thursday, 17 February 2022, starting at 5 pm (GMT+4) at the German Pavilion. The discussion will focus on the recently opened exhibition "BERLIN GLOBAL" at Berlin's Humboldt Forum, which shows how the city and its people are connected to the world. Andreas Horbelt, Creative Director of facts & fiction, the agency responsible for the exhibition concept of the German Pavilion, will also be guest on the panel.
Three exhibitions in which people take on a new, active role, discover their potential and create individual approaches to an exhibition. Join us on a journey through "BERLIN GLOBAL", the recently opened exhibition at Berlin's Humboldt Forum - one of the most discussed cultural projects in Europe - as well as the two pavilions of Germany and Japan at Expo 2020 Dubai. Meet the people behind this completely new type of exhibition at the German Pavilion. In a presentation followed by a panel discussion the following speakers talk about the special features of the different exhibitions:

- Moritz van Dülmen, Managing Director of Kulturprojekte Berlin
- Dr. Bjoern Weigel, historian and curator
- Aiko Yabunaka, Secretary General of the Japanese Pavilion and
- Masaki Iwakura, Executive Liaision Director, International Relations Bureau, Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition
They will provide further insights into the concept of the Japan Expo Pavilion and outlooks on the next World Expo 2025 in Osaka.
