Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action has overall responsibility for the country’s Expo pavilions and contracts an outside company to organise them. This company then works with partners to design, plan, construct and run the pavilion. In this section, we introduce you to the team behind the German Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The Commissioner General of the German Pavilion is Dietmar Schmitz.
Koelnmesse GmbH has been tasked with the overall organisation of the pavilion and is providing staff to head up the various areas of the German Pavilion’s operations:

The “German Pavilion Expo 2020 Dubai Consortium”, comprising facts and fiction GmbH (Cologne) and NUSSLI Adunic AG (Hüttwilen, Switzerland), is in charge of concept design, planning and realisation. facts and fiction are responsible for content, exhibition and media design.
The pavilion is being built by NUSSLI Adunic.
The architecture and spatial design are the work of LAVA – Laboratory for Visionary Architecture (Berlin).
The “Culture Lab” cultural programme is being put together by Frankfurt-based agency VOSS+FISCHER , working in a consortium with culture and media manager Mike P. Heisel.
The restaurant will be run by Angerer & Obermayr .
